A bandana commissioned by Bandits in collaboration with REI, an iconic outdoor brand founded in 1938. This project set out to translate REI’s legacy into a single, functional object — one that carries both heritage and intention. The bandana becomes more than an accessory; it acts as a narrative surface where exploration, community, and connection with nature converge. Guided by REI’s mission, “to awaken a lifelong love of the outdoors, for all,” the piece was developed as an invitation — a visual entry point into the spirit of adventure. Every element within the composition is rooted in this idea: movement, discovery, and a deep respect for the landscapes that shape us.
